Book Discussion: Doubt
Wednesday, July 23, at 7:00 PM at Center for Inquiry Indiana, 350 Canal Walk, Suite A. We will continue our discussion of DOUBT: A History: The Great Doubters and Their Legacy of Innovation from Socrates and Jesus to Thomas Jefferson and Emily Dickinson by Dr. Jennifer Michael Hecht. This group will be meeting monthly, usually on the fourth Wednesday, through most of 2008. The discussion will be Chapter 6, “Medieval Doubt Loops the Loop: Muslims to Jews to Christians” Sean O’Brien will be the discussion leader. The paperback version of the book is on sale at the center for $15. It is not necessary for you to read the chapter or commit to attending every month in order to attend.
