CFI Night at IRT
A Native Hoosier Alonzo Fields aspired to be an opera singer but through a twist of fate found himself working at the White House where he remained for 21 years as Chief Butler. Using memories and music, he introduces a cavalcade of characters: presidents, prime ministers, monarchs, and movie stars in this fascinating and enormously entertaining play.
This is an original play written by IRT Playwright in Residence, James Still. I (Reba) saw it a few years ago when it was first performed. I would highly recommend it. Mr. Fields served under Presidents Hoover, FDR, Truman, and Eisenhower.
Ticket price will be $34 if ordered through Reba who is a season ticket holder. Please order your ticket by Monday, March 31. There are many other performances. Go to http://www.irtlive.com/Default.aspx for more information on these performances.
