Freethought Muncie/New Castle
FREETHOUGHT MUNCIE/NEW CASTLE AREA—A CFI DISCUSSION GROUP --Monday, March 17 at 7:00 PM at the home of Ben and China Swartz in Muncie. Adam Dustin will be leading the discussion on the second chapter of Susan Jacoby’s book: Freethinkers: A History of American Secularism. The second chapter is “The Age of Reason and Unreason.” This chapter focuses mostly on Thomas Paine and others of his era. You do not have to read the book in order to attend but it would be helpful to do so. The plan is to discuss this book a chapter per month over a period of time.
