Astronomer Carl Sagan was born on November 9, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York. He died of pneumonia, a complication of the bone-marrow disease myelodysplasia, on December 20, 1996, at age 62. CFI-Indiana will remember Carl Sagan by watching an episode of the original COSMOS and eating apple pie and ice cream. Please RSVP by Friday, November 6.
