Philosophy Discussion Group--Friday, April 26, 7:00 pm, Center for Inquiry-Indiana, 350 Canal Walk, Suite A, Indianapolis. Topic: Nihilism and Continental thought.

Nietzsche notoriously wrote that "God is dead", signifying that the traditional notions that had given meaning to life could no longer be believed. This program will consist of an overview of some major responses to "God's death" on the part of such figureheads of Continental philosophy as Foucault, Derrida, and the existentialists.

CFI Indiana's philosophy discussion group is facilitated by Michael Persinger, a graduate of IUPUI's philosophy MA program, currently teaching at Ivy Tech Community College.
