Earth Scouts --Sunday,  August 10, 1:00pm,  Eagle Creek Reservoir and Wildlife Habitat Area.  Eagle Creek Park is located on the Westside of Indianapolis. It is west of I-465 and has entrances on 56th Street and on 71st Street.  Meet at Wildlife Habitat area.

We will be continuing the study of the importance of keeping water clean.  Our trip to Eagle Creek will concentrate on how animals and plants rely on some of our man made waterways and why it is so important to maintain their cleanliness.

Earth Scouts is a new national program developed by Earth Charter US. The name of the local group is Earth Scouts of Central Indiana and it is sponsored by CFI Indiana. It is nondiscriminatory and one does not have to be a CFI member to participate.  This program is for boys and girls ages 5-17.  For information on Earth Scouts go to http://www.earthscouts.org/ For more information on this outing and also on Earth Scouts of Central Indiana in general, contact Joe Oliver at   or  317-370-7775.
