Patricia Churchland speaks on morality and the social brain to overflow crowd Sunday, Jan. 4

More than 125 attended Sunday’s lecture by Patricia Churchland, professor emerita of the Univ. of California, San Diego, about morality and the brain based on her book, “Touching a Nerve.” Introduced by Eddie Tabash, who was introduced by Bob Ladendorf, Churchland also discussed the neuroscience of NDEs, evolution of brains in mammals, and how various brain chemicals affect behavior.
