I’m, as of this writing, a month or so away from 60 and still feeling mostly like a kid. I am astounded by the vast amount of knowledge I don’t have and am becoming resigned to the fact that I’ll never begin to read all that I’d like to. I love my wide assortment of friends and acquaintances as well as the many feline friends I’ve associated with over the years, and some canine ones as well, but am leery of the notion of “pets”.
I’ve held over the years some untenable beliefs, but have always wanted to know the truth, small “t”, in as much as this were possible, and have learned to love the absolute freedom of those three small words, “I don’t know”. They in themselves cover a vast array of knowledge, both for myself and for our species, but how much better off we would be if we could become more adept at saying them. I love to dance, and to both play and listen to music, limited as my talents are in both areas. And I love to go walk-about and see what is to be seen while on many aimless strolls.
