As medical costs skyrocket and health care reform takes center stage in the Presidential campaign, our distinguished panel of speakers address a variety of questions about the ethics of health care. What is the most just way to distribute public health care resources? How important are efficiency and quality-of-life considerations in the public financing of health care, especially with respect to end-of-life care? What obligations does society have towards providing health care to the poor and the uninsured? How does health care in the US compare to health care in other developed nations?
