Street Signs of Religion and Politics

This is one event in CFI-NE Ohio's first ever Civics Week!

The Northeast Ohio chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State will hold a forum on how (and why) the failure to keep religion out of our political process is detrimental to Americans.

The scheduled speakers include:

Mano Singham- theoretical physicist at CWRU, director of U.C.I.T.E. (University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education), Freethought Blogger (and hometown humanist hero!) smile

Elise Helgesen Aguilar- State Legislative Counsel for Americans United for the Separation of Church and State

Piet Van Lier- Communications Director and education researcher for Policy Matters Ohio

Mallory McMaster Ullman- Representative from NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio

More details to follow.

This event is open to the public; Refreshments and munchies will be served, starting at 6pm. The program begins at 6:30pm.

See You there! smile
