Cleveland Chapter Monthly Meeting
John Fazio "The Elephant Is Still In The Living Room"
This presentation reflects one man's conclusions from his extensive readings on religion, atheism and evolution, with references to recent atheistic books from such authors as Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. Humanists will likely find that they will agree on many points John raises, but disagree with some of his thoughts as well. This program promises to be intellectually stimulating and should provoke lively discussion.
John, a CFINO member, lives in Akron and is retired from his career in Public Relations. He has simultaneously practiced law for 42 years, and he is still active in his work as a lawyer. History is John's avocation and he is a member of the Cleveland Civil War Roundtable. He has written extensively about the Civil War and has had articles published in the Civil War Times Illustrated. He also is a thespian and has appeared in numerous plays around Cleveland and Akron.
The meeting will be held at the Independence Library, 6361 Selig Drive, Independence.
