Cleveland Chapter Meeting at Mayfield Library

Ends

In February, the discussion turns to science, specifically evolution, as CFI NE Ohio celebrates its annual Darwin Day event.

In the movie Creation (2009), Thomas Huxley’s character says to Charles Darwin; “You’ve killed God, sir… you have killed God.” Judging by the prevalence of religion in today’s world, Darwin apparently didn’t “kill God,” but he managed to stick a big thorn in the side of religion. Please join us on Thur., Feb. 15, 7 p.m., at the Mayfield Branch Library for our Darwin Day meeting! This year, we’re going to provide a selection of short videos that covers many aspects of evolution – its best supporting evidence, amazing examples of its occurrence, its relationship with religion and politics, etc. There will be time for some discussion between the selections.
