Cleveland Chapter Meeting at Orange Branch Library
The October meeting will feature the program, “Using Your Voice:A Guide for Effective Citizen Lobbying.” According to a poll cited by the Rev. Barry Lynn, the executive director of Americans United, fewer than 20% of Americans have ever contacted an elected official about any topic. But who among us wouldn’t prefer having more of a voice in our public policymaking? This program will be a “how to” primer on becoming a citizen lobbyist and will offer tips on how to most effectively reach out to elected officials. A special guest TBD will be brought in via Skype. This meeting will be held on Wed., Oct. 9, 7 p.m., at the Orange Branch Library (31300 Chagrin Blvd, Pepper Pike). We’ll be in the James A. Garfield meeting room- see you there!
