Announcing a Better, Simpler Membership Program

June 21, 2016

Being a part of CFI is now better – and easier – than ever.

What a time it is to be a member of the Center for Inquiry! With the help of people like you, we’ve expanded our reach, amplified our message, brought on new leaders and partners, and set ambitious new goals in pursuit of our mission for science, reason, and secular values. And the year isn’t even half over!

Being a part of CFI should be simple and straightforward, and the rewards of membership should befit the level of your support, so we can focus on carrying out our shared mission. That’s why we’re introducing the all-new Center for Inquiry membership program.

So what’s the big deal about this new program?

Clearer Membership Levels

Taking our inspiration from our magnificent cosmos, supporters of science and reason who join above the most basic level can claim Planet, Star, Galaxy, and Universe-level status in the Center for Inquiry firmament.

Better Membership Benefits

New members get a personalized membership card, and increasing your support means increasingly great rewards, like discounts to CFI events, free books, specially curated CFI merchandise, and at the top level, invitations to members-only online conferences.

Membership that Travels

Your membership applies everywhere, whether you’re part of one of our wonderful local communities, or you support CFI at the national level. When you become a member of the Center for Inquiry, you’re entitled to all of the associated rights and privileges, no matter where you are, so discounts for events apply locally and nationally.

Come As You Are

If you’re already a member of CFI, you don’t have to do anything right now. Your benefits remain the same, and you can choose your new membership level when it comes time to renew. (And to make things even simpler going forward, Skeptical Inquirer and Free Inquiry subscribers can opt in to becoming CFI members, separate from their subscriptions.)

It Works Both Ways

Thanks to our recent merger, membership with CFI also means membership with the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science…and vice-versa!

It’s an exciting time for CFI, and we thank you for being a part of it. Become a member today!
