Point of Inquiry, the podcast that brings you in-depth interviews with the most fascinating and brilliant minds in science, religion, and politics, is finally back! We recently   unveiled the stellar new team behind the show’s re-launch, and the first new episode is now online and ready to go in both video and audio editions!

In the inaugural episode of this new phase of Point of Inquiry, Josh Zepps, founding host and producer of HuffPost Live, talks to physicist and author   Leonard Mlodinow about his most recent book, Subliminal: How Your Unconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior. Recorded in front of a live audience at last month’s CFI Summit in Tacoma, Washington, Mlodinow reveals how our minds can trick us into making bad decisions, and prevent even the most skeptical among us from being able to poke holes in our own suppositions. (There is also some needling of Deepak Chopra.)

Look forward next week to the first episode with cohost Lindsay Beyerstein, also recorded live at the CFI Summit: a fascinating and powerful interview with Katherine Stewart, author of   The Good News Club: The Christian Right’s Stealth Assault on America’s Children.
