Welcome to CFI-NYC
We recently asked some supporters of CFI-New York City to share their reasons for supporting CFi.
The Center for Inquiry in New York City provides a public voice for science, reason, and secular values in the cultural capital of the world. Our community of skeptics and humanists is busy, friendly, and inclusive. We have consistently sponsored high quality programs, featuring speakers such as Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Susan Jacoby, Ned Block, Gerald Edelman, Paul Ekman, Nicholas Carr, Massimo Pigliucci, Jennifer Michael Hecht, Rebecca Newberger Goldstein, Michelle Goldberg, Natalie Angier, Eric Alterman, and Ian Tattersall. We have advanced rationality through the media and public campaigns, and we support CFI's mission to the United Nations. However, to sustain and expand the tremendous level of outreach and advocacy we do in New York City, we need your help.
CFI-NYC will be joining with our associates with Reasonable NY to march with many others during the UN summit on climate change.
