The Center for Inquiry has always been dedicated to fostering a society in which fundamental human rights are enjoyed by all. We have therefore been staunch supporters of same-sex marriage rights, especially as opposition to marriage equality is usually based on the tenets of ancient religious texts.

Marriage Equality USA has asked us to volunteer at their phone bank on Tuesday and Thursday, making calls to Rhode Island and Delaware to help MEUSA support marriage equality efforts. We will be asking folks if they support marriage equality, and if they do, asking if we can transfer them to their legislator's voicemail to leave a message of support. The more messages of support these legislators receive, the more likely they will vote in favor.

PLEASE EMAIL nyc@centerforinquiry.net WITH YOUR NAME AND THE DAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP OUT (TUESDAY/THURSDAY)

This is a call for action! Red equal signs as Facebook profile pics are great for solidarity, but we need to get out there if we want to see some change!
