It's been a while since our last update, but the Freethought Library project continues. Exciting news, too -- we're up to 72 books! Several of these books came from our awesome membership (thanks guys!), but we'd especially like to thank American Atheists for their generous contribution (I'm particularly excited about the many copies of the X-Rated Bible). Your support means the world to us!
It’s winter break and you know what that means – there’s finally time for a Freethought Library update! 2011 has been a fantastic year for ISSA (a review of that year to come) but the library is perhaps our most tangible accomplishment.
It's been two weeks, and ISSA's Freethought Library has more than doubled in size! Sure, that means we now have nine books instead of four, but progress is progress! I'd like to thank those who've donated thus far... This is, of course, for a great cause -- arming our members with the most fundamental atheist arguments, facilitating productive discussion and promoting further inquiry. In short, we need to keep these freethinkers freethinkin'! Get it? Got it? Good.
