Music Monday: Dan Bern - “Jerusalem”
October 3, 2011
Well, I just got home from a long day of school and can’t think of a better thing to do than listen to some good music. I can’t think of a better artist right now than one that I was recently introduced to by none other than the one and only Debbie Goddard! Did you know that Debbie knows how to play guitar? Well she does and I heard today’s Music Monday song, “Jerusalem” by Dan Bern, played by Debbie a few weeks back. She later sent me a list of Dan’s songs that will certainly be featured again.
I liked this song so much I recently asked Debbie for the chords to the song and she obliged.
So thats what I’ll be doing for the remainder of the night; tripping over my fingers to learn this nice little song by Dan Bern. I might throw some First Aid Kit in my little jam session too. Enjoy!
As always, if you have suggestions for future Music Mondays feel free to email me a firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment below (It worked for Debbie). Your suggestions, along with future and past songs, may end up in the official Course of Reason Music Monday Grooveshark playlist that anyone can listen to.
