Music Monday: First Aid Kit - “Hard Believer” [Live]
July 30, 2012
Now, I know
this song has been featured before, but today is a special occasion. I am finally going to be able to see First Aid Kit today.
I had a good friend message me the other day. His texts read:
“Sometimes I go to live shows and I understand religious experiences. Like, if a pastor could make me feel like that and told me it was Jesus, I’d do it. It defies reason because you don’t care about reason. You just want to keep feeling like that. Thought you could relate.”
The thing is is that I can relate and I know exactly what he was talking about which is on reason why I think it is important to go see live music every once an a while. We need religious type experiences every once and a while.
The following video is a live performance of “Hard Believer” with a brief introduction and explanation of the song by the Soderberg sisters. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do!
