Music Monday: Poison the Well - “Material Christ”
December 3, 2012
I’m going to cut straight to the point here; I like heavy music. I like it loud. I like if fast. I don’t like to know what in the hell was just screamed at me during the first go around. I am assuming that this desire of mine is derived from my passionate hate for pop-country music and its ever-so-present-this-time-of-year cousin: Christmas music. I shudder just thinking about how many radio stations I am going to have to flip through before I settle on NPR’s “fiscal cliff” reporting just to avoid Christmas music on my ride home tonight. Today’s Music Monday song should remedy my problems and I hope it helps you through these trying times as well!
The song is called “Material Christ” and was featured on Poison the Well’s first EP, Distance Only Makes the Heart Grow Fonder. I hope you enjoy.
