Music Monday: Streetlight Manifesto - “We Will Fall Together”

July 9, 2012

Today’s Music Monday comes as a request from CFI On Campus facebook fan, Reid. Why this song on this week? Well, Debbie Goddard, CFI On Campus Coordinator, went out of hear way last week to let me know she loved this song and that I should feature it on this week’s Music Monday. Well, here you go Debbie.

I have heard of Streetlight Manifesto before last week, but never actually heard them. They sound a lot like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, but lyrically examine the negative social and personal ramifications of obsession with the afterlife instead of making cameo appearances in mid-90s pop movies like Clueless. They also make animated videos of pirates fighting to

I hope you enjoy “We Will Fall Together” as much as Debbie and I do/did.

As always, if you get a chance, send your suggestions for future Music Mondays to me at chashman@centerforinquiry.net, leave a comment below, or @tweet us at @CFIOnCampus. Your suggestions, along with future and past songs, may end up in the official Course of Reason Music Monday Grooveshark playlist or Spofity playlist that anyone can listen to.
