[Indianapolis, IN] Indiana Civic Days

The morning session will be in the North Atrium of the Indiana State House, 402 West Washington, Street, Indianapolis and the afternoon session will be at the Indiana State Library, 315 West Ohio Street, Indianapolis. These two venues are across the street (Senate Avenue) from each other.
This will be an all day conference that will feature speakers addressing the workings of our Indiana State Legislature and issues of interest to our organizations. This will be sponsored jointly by CFI-Indiana and the Indiana Chapter-Americans United for Separation of Church and State. The focus will be on three issues: Reproductive Rights, LGBT Rights, and School Vouchers.
Confirmed speakers are: Ron Lindsay, CEO of CFI; Barry Lynn, Executive Director,Americans United for Separation of Church and State; Betty Cockrum, CEO,Planned Parenthood of Indiana; David Sklar, Director of Government Affairs, Jewish Community Relations Council;, Rick Sutton, President, Indiana Equality Action;Robert Enlow, President & CEO, Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice; Joel Hand, Attorney; Indiana Coalition for Public Education. The following week participants will be encouraged to help distribute CFI-Indiana and AU folders to members of the legislature and make appointments with the representative andsenator from their district.
