Music Monday: The Dear Hunter - “No God”

November 28, 2011

Today’s Music Monday was recomended by @AligheriDurante via Twitter. The song is by a Providence, Rhode Island band called The Dear Hunter. The song, entitled “No God” has some refreshing lyrics and can be found on the band’s White EP from thier The Color Spectrum series consisting of an array of albums and EP’s.

I have been meaning to listen to The Dear Hunter for a while, as this is not the first time that they have been suggested to me. Although I’m not sure if it was The Dear Hunter or Deerhunter or the soundtrack to the motion picture The Deer Hunter. Either way, thanks to @AligheriDurante there is a brand new band I get to explore soon and you get to enjoy for Music Monday. If their other songs are similar to “No God” I suspect I am going to enjoy them and I hope you enjoy them too.

If you get a chance, send your suggestions for future Music Mondays to me at, leave a comment below, or @tweet us at @CFIOnCampus. Your suggestions, along with future and past songs, may end up in the official Course of Reason Music Monday Grooveshark playlist that anyone can listen to.
