The Course of Reason

Music Monday: Shelley Segal - “Saved”

January 9, 2012

Welcome back to Music Monday here on The Course of Reason. I have some good news! First, as requested, I have compiled a Spotify playlist, so those of you not already subscribed to the Grooveshark playlist can join in the fun via Spotify.  The other bit of good news is that I recently ran across a new artist to feature on Music Monday: Shelley Segal.

I am actually quite pleased with how I came across Shelley Segal, and hope I run across more artists like her this way. I was browsing r/atheistmusic* and her recent album, An Atheist Album, was the top post for the day. So I checked her out and thought I would share her first single from the album with you all.

Her album can be found on iTunes, Amazon, or from her website. She also has a facebook page that she updates with songs, interviews, and podcast appearances. So go like her page, buy the album, and enjoy today’s Music Monday song by Shelley Segal, “Saved”:

*I highly suggest joining the r/atheistmusic subreddit if you get a chance. I have heard a great deal of new and classic artists there.

As always, if you get a chance, send your suggestions for future Music Mondays to me at, leave a comment below, or @tweet us at @CFIOnCampus. Your suggestions, along with future and past songs, may end up in the official Course of Reason Music Monday Grooveshark playlist that anyone can listen to.
