Part two of a three-part presentation featuring James “The Amazing” Randi, famed magician and skeptic; Tom Flynn, editor of Free Inquiry magazine and current executive director of the Council for Secular Humanism; Ed Buckner, a past executive director of the Council; and Paul Kurtz, founder of Free Inquiry and the Council for Secular Humanism. The event is chaired by Ronald A. Lindsay, president and CEO of the Council.

On October 8, 2010, the Council for Secular Humanism presented its 30th anniversary conference at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. This episode showcases the presentations by Tom Flynn on Free Inquiry’s 2006 publication of controversial Danish “Muhammad” cartoons; Ed Buckner’s reflections on his years as executive director of the Council; and part one of Paul Kurtz’s global reflection on the secular humanist movement and the Council’s place in it.
