The Center for Inquiry and the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science are urging the Federal Trade Commission to put an end to false advertising by the manufacturers of homeopathic products.

The Center for Inquiry is amongst 17 organizations and two individuals that sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, urging him to press Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to halt the execution of Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr and several other demonstrators from the country's marginalized Eastern Province. 

Federal Education Bill Does Not Include School Voucher Scheme

Congressional lawmakers have announced a preliminary agreement to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) — and thankfully have excluded language that would create or lead to a private school voucher scheme. 

CFI Amongst Organizations Urging Canadian Government to Assist Bangladesh Blogger

The Center for Inquiry has joined 16 secular and humanist organizations in calling on Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Canadian government to provide humanitarian assistance to bloggers, writers, and publishers who have been attacked in Bangladesh.
