What is the CFI Community of Pittsburgh?

A supportive community of people who share nonreligious values.

We wish to introduce you to a new way of becoming involved with secular humanism and to be on the cutting edge of new development in free thought.  We are an alternative to true believers and organized religion, and depend upon rational thought and science to guide our lives.  We are seekers after the truth in the spirit of The Enlightenment.  We affirm humanism as a realistic alternative to theologies of despair and violence.

The Center for Inquiry Community Pittsburgh meets regularly and meetings are open to the public, especially agnostics, skeptics, atheists, secular humanists, existentialists, scientists, students, and anyone who shares a belief in living a meaningful life without religion.  The local chapter provides intellectual stimulation and an opportunity to put your principles into practice by joining other freethinkers to work for positive change in society.

CFI Community members also receive our local newsletter, meeting information, essays, updates and information of interest to the community.

Join us by clicking on "Contact Us" and providing your contact information.  We welcome you to our community.
