Tom Flynn
CFI Pittsburgh is proud to welcome Tom Flynn to the 'Burgh. As most of you probably already know, Tom is the Executive Director of the Council for Secular Humanism and is also the editor of Free Inquiry magazine. He is very well known throughout the secular humanist community around the world. It is indeed an honor to have him speak to us.
Tom's topic for this evening is "Who Are These Doubters, Anyway; The Demography of Unbelief". He will be exploring how sociologists and pollsters measure belief and unbelief. He will also address the scandals and controversies in the polling field, and what the polling data on religion really means. He will also try to give some insight into which polls are reliable.
Admission is $6, free to current Friends of the Center.
