Rotating Meeting Venue

July 2, 2008

One of the issues that we have had with our meetings at John Harvard's has been the difficulty for people from the western side of the Squirrel Hill tunnels to get there, especially now with the Parkway construction. In order to address that issue, we are starting a rotating meeting venue. Beginning with our September meeting, which will be held at the Carnegie Science Center (and quarterly thereafter), we will move the venue around the area to try to accommodate/inconvenience all of our members relatively more equally.

Other than the Carnegie Science Center, we are not firmly committed to any particular venue or geographic area. We do have tentative plans to use the Quaker meeting house in Oakland, John Harvard's, and something in the South Hills area. If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know.
