'There’s an assumption in society you haven’t got a moral compass,' said Portland mom Sylvia Benner.
She and other secular parents in Portland have formed a group for like-minded families. They network and host kids’ programs, like a Rational Sunday School, during which they try to instill in children values such as fairness, tolerance and critical thinking."
