William M. London, Ed.D., M.P.H. is a professor in the the Department of Public Health at California State University, Los Angeles and a co-author of the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth (2013) editions of the college textbook Consumer Health: A Guide to Intelligent Decisions. He is North American Editor of the journal FACT (Focus on Alternative and Complementary Therapies), associate editor of the e-newsletter Consumer Health Digest; a co-host of the Credential Watch Web site, a consultant to the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, the online Renegades & Rascals columnist for Skeptical Inquirer, a founding member of the board of associate editors of the journal Health Behavior and Policy Review, an editor of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine section of the California Journal of Health Promotion, and a member of the Review Board of the American Journal of Health Behavior.
Dr. London holds baccalaureate degrees in biological sciences and geography; master's degrees in educational psychology and health education; and a doctorate in health education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his master of public health degree in health administration from Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
