Lauren Anderson Youngblood

Lauren Anderson Youngblood joined the Secular Coalition in 2011, bringing with her several years experience in journalism, marketing writing and web editing. In her role with the Secular Coalition, Lauren has been quoted in news media across the country, including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, The Washington Post, Politico, NPR and others. A New York native, Lauren studied Journalism and Political Science at Howard University, and Middle Eastern history at Tel Aviv University in Israel. As a journalist her work has appeared in various publications including the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and Congressional Quarterly. Most recently, Lauren served as the lead editor for Fastweb and MonsterCollege.com, and in her spare time directed communications and public relations for several non-profit civic organizations.
