Welcome to the home of the Center for Inquiry's mission to the United Nations. The Center for Inquiry holds special consultative status as a non-governmental organization (NGO) under the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). It maintains official representation at UN headquarters in New York and UN offices in Geneva and Vienna, where it works to defend the secular, scientific outlook in the international community.

The UN mission, based in New York City under the direction of Michael De Dora, also assists the coordination of CFI's international initiatives, which can now be found in India, China, Egypt, Russia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Peru, Argentina, Uganda, Kenya, and elsewhere.
