Part oneof a three-part presentation featuring James “The Amazing” Randi, famed magician and skeptic; Tom Flynn, editor of Free Inquiry magazine and current executive director of the Council for Secular Humanism; Ed Buckner, a past executive director of the Council; and Paul Kurtz, founder of Free Inquiry and the Council for Secular Humanism. The event is chaired by Ronald A. Lindsay, president and CEO of the Council.

On October 8, 2010, the Council for Secular Humanism presented its 30th anniversary conference at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. This episode showcases the presentation by James Randi on his investigation and exposé of noted faith healers during the Council’s inaugural decade.
